PROJECT COORDINATOR – Coordinate project requirements and progress, including managing the flow of technical information between the company’s management team, customers, subcontractors and vendors through written communication; define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout projects life cycle; track and document project status, progress of project issues and risks.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors in Construction Management, Structural/Civil Engineering with 3-5 years related project experience in the structural steel industry; detailing/drafting/computer modeling required. General knowledge of fabrication and erection standards and procedures.

PROJECT MANAGER – Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated project to ensure that goals or objectives of project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of spreadsheets (Excel) Basic computer and Windows skills (95 or later), knowledge of word processor (Word_ and database (Access). PROJECT ASSISTANT: Work collaboratively with the project manager and team to maximize productivity. Collaborate with the whole project team, contributing to the entire project lifecycle. Organize and monitor schedules and see that deadlines are met. Coordinate efforts within the team and with outside consultants efficiently. Report updates verbally and in written form to management. Monitor budget and help ensure resources are used efficiently.

SHOP FABRICATION QUALITY CONTROL – Inspect dimensions, materials, specifications, welding procedures and codes to final paint inspection of fabricated steel pieces.

QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or five or more years of experience equivalent as a QC Inspector, Senior Welder or Iron Worker. Must read and interpret structural steel prints and drawings. Knowledge of welding codes and welding procedures. Experience managing personnel in the shop.
THIS IS A LOCAL JOB, NO RELOCATION PROVIDED. COMPENSATION BASED ON EXPERIENCE.

CERTIFIED IRONWORKER– Structural steel Certified Welders to install steel; beams, girders, canopies, decking and columns to form buildings, bridges and other structures. Unload, stack prefabricated steel like beams, girders and columns using slings and cranes to lift pieces. Able to perform miscellaneous steel installations like stairs, gates or fences and decking. Must be able to follow safety rules at all times; wearing safety attire and operating power tools safely. Must be able to work in very high heights. Located in LA city and certification is required.
